About the Association
Our History

The Association was formed in 2009 by 17 ship chandlers operating at New Mangalore Port. Some of our founding members have been serving vessels since 1965, making us one of the most experienced marine service groups at the port.

Under the instruction of the Deputy Conservator of New Mangalore Port, the ship chandlers providing garbage clearance services united to form a registered association under the Society Act.

"Our objective was to ensure standardized, compliant, and efficient waste management services for vessels calling at the port."

Our Mission

To provide safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible ship waste management services that protect marine ecosystems and support smooth port operations.

Our Vision

To be the most trusted marine waste management association in Indian ports, maintaining the highest standards of environmental compliance and service efficiency.
